HELI and ZF Establishes Joint-Venture Company

On the 8th of February 2018, Anhui Heli Co. Ltd (HELI) and ZF Friedrichshafen AG (ZF) established a joint-venture company at Hefei, China. The company intends to create a global leading R&D, manufacture, assembling and sales base of industrial vehicles, and becomes an advanced material handling high-end transmission system supplier in the world.

ZF Friedrichshafen AG located in Friedrichshafen, Germany, is one of the global 500 companies and one of the three largest transmission manufacturers. ZF is a global leader in driveline and chassis technology.

The collaboration of both parties will facilitate the industrial upgrade and technical progress of whole machine of Chinese industrial vehicles, especially in the areas of high-end transmission system, including electric and new energy，and further enhance both core competitiveness regarding whole machine and key parts of HELI. Meanwhile, it will help ZF to expand their share in the industrial vehicle parts market.

Mr.Wilhelm Rehm, ZF group director said that HELI has strong capacity in terms of whole machine manufacturing, and ZF has the leading technology of transmission and chassis technology. The collaboration of both parties will create more competitive products.

Mr.Bai Xue, the general manager of Heli Co. Ltd said that the collaboration will integrate advantages of both parties, and support HELI the whole products upgrading. In 2017, our sales volume has increased by 40%, and we believe it will be a significant increase in 2018.
